Environmental policy at Otto Hansen & Co. a/s
As company it is our duty to take a responsibility in protecting the environment.
The transport sector is responsible for a large part of the world’s CO2 discharge, which demands a great awareness to our influence on this area and to the possibilities we have for improvement.
Otto Hansen & Co. a/s’ policy is to create environmental improvements to our customers. Therefore our focus areas are:
- to guide our customers in environmentally correct transports
- to offer our customers calculations of their transports’ environmental impact (for use in their calculations of indirect environment influence)
- Constantly to be able to reduce the environmental impact by making demands on our own trucks and our carriers. A specification of our own carrier demands can be required by inquiry.
